JND Legal Administration Appoints Lorri Staal as Vice President of Operations

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–JND Legal Administration (JND), a legal management and administration services provider serving plaintiff and defendant firms, corporations and government entities across five service lines, recently appointed Lorri Staal as vice president of operations. With more than 20 years of complex litigation experience and demonstrated claims administration expertise, Staal was brought on by JND in June to keep pace with the company’s rapid case growth.

Since joining JND, Staal has played a leading role in the management of several high-profile matters entrusted to the company, including the $763 million Mercedes-Benz emissions settlement and the $60 million Federal Trade Commission Suboxone settlement. In her role, she provides day-to-day operational oversight and is responsible for strategic planning, development and execution on all administration-related processes and deliverables.

Staal was a practicing attorney at Dechert LLP for 13 years before beginning her legal administration career in 2008. During her administration career, Staal oversaw many matters involving securities and consumer class actions, financial remediations, and federal and state government administrations. Notable cases include the $20 billion BP Oil Spill Gulf Coast Claims Facility, the $140 million Takata Airbag Tort Compensation administration, the Yukos Oil asset distribution, a financial remediation program for a Fortune 500 financial institution, Department of Justice asset forfeiture distributions and SEC enforcement actions.
