JND Legal Administration
Senior Strategic Advisor to JND, Matthew (“Matt”) Potter, is responsible for helping drive the company’s business development initiatives, sales and marketing strategy, and client relationship management.
An accomplished leader in the legal administration industry, Matt brings over 20 years’ experience to the design, implementation and management of complex and time-sensitive projects, including class action settlements, regulatory agency enforcement actions and urgent communications such as data breach responses. Among other successful engagements, Matt effectively managed a notable Attorney General settlement involving mortgage borrowers in virtually every state against financial institutions. The settlement resulted in 1,000+ customer service representatives trained, 1,000,000+ claims processed and $1 billion+ distributed to eligible claimants. An article written by Matt titled “Factors Affecting Claim Filing Rates in Class Action Settlements” provides authoritative guidance on increasing claim filing rates and was recently featured in the Mass Torts Vendor Association (MTVA) Spotlight.
Prior to joining JND, Matt held various executive positions, including a term as President, with another large United States legal consulting and administration services firm. As an executive at said firm for 17 years, Matt was accountable for more than 500 settlements, with particular focus on large, complex antitrust and regulatory settlements. During his tenure, Matt was instrumental in developing a profitable new practice area within the company for government agencies with regulated settlements, with total distributions in excess of $5 billion.
Matt received his B.S. from Mankato State University.
