On August 9, 2013, Sanctioned Automotive Group, LLC ("Sanctioned" or the "Debtor"), filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The Debtor's bankruptcy case (Case No. 13-30217) is pending before the Honorable Ernest M. Robles in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Los Angeles Division.

In an effort to resolve a lender dispute and strengthen its financial position to best support ongoing operations, Sanctioned announced that it filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. A spokesperson for Sanctioned said, "After exhaustive efforts to resolve a dispute with our primary lender have failed to produce a structure that is in the company's best interest, we are left with no choice other than to seek the protections granted under Chapter 11 for financial restructuring. Our confidence in the future of the brand remains strong and our commitment to the growing number of passionate consumers, here and abroad, is unwavering."

Sanctioned will file a series of motions with the Court to ensure the continuation of normal operations.  Sanctioned has also asked for authority to continue honoring all current customer policies and programs to ensure that the restructuring process will not negatively affect its customers. Sanctioned expects that the Court will approve these requests. During the Chapter 11 process, suppliers will be paid in full for all goods and services provided after the filing date as required by the Bankruptcy Code, and Sanctioned has taken steps to ensure continued supply of goods and services to its customers.
