JND Legal Administration
Michael Sherin (Mike) is a senior advisor to JND Legal Administration, bringing over thirty years of legal and financial services, management consulting, and banking experience to all client engagements.
Mike was one of the founders of GCG and served as GCG’s chairman until 2008. His noteworthy accomplishments include managing the relationship with Manville Trust during a successful, multi-year project. He led the sales and project delivery teams over nearly two years on-site in Kuwait for that government’s claims assignment following the Persian Gulf War using the United Nations Compensation Commission’s protocols developed for the claims administration project. Mike also managed a multi-year product liability settlement for the Weyerhauser Company involving a siding product. In addition to managing the claims administration in this case, he managed the communications with the field inspection subcontractor and reported damage calculations to the defendant company’s designated management.
Prior to his executive roles at GCG, Mike spent 14 years at KPMG Peat Marwick. Before this, he was a senior officer with the financial services company consulting practice of the former Touche Ross & Company. He also brought his consulting skills and organizational management experience to the trust department of a Long Island regional bank, serving as senior vice president and officer in charge of the department.
Mike currently serves as the treasurer of the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County where he has been a trustee for nearly 20 years. He is also the treasurer of Crime Stoppers of Nassau County, Inc., and has served in this role since it was founded over 20 years ago.
